Well in this long weekend I've been so bored that I cook for myself... I lunched outside and on the way home I bought stuffs for the dinner... Lucky I'm still alive with my amateur cooking skills... :P Well at least I'm still doing fine... :P

I guess for those who love video games would know the biggest event recently is the release of Halo3.  Actually I have never played the Halo series... And apart from knowing it's a big hit First Personal Shooting game I have no knowledge at all why it's so popular... Anyway I never had an Xbox, so I had no way to find out... This time, I, being like a member of a pack of sheeps, followed the mass majority and bought a copy home... Well the graphics are stunning... but I still am not very fond of playing it... Maybe that's because I got too many games to play with at the moment... Will definitely need to invest more time to try this big hit... It's a sin to waste a good game you know... :P

I'm so looking forward to the upcoming Resident Evil movie... Thursday that is... :P

Anyway... Today I've made a very stupid mistake while attempting to fix a problem at work... I really can't believe I made this silly mistake... Luckily it can be fixed but I have definitely wasted more time than I should have... And I am not talking about the time of myself only... I also generated more work for my colleagues... For this I apologize for my stupidity... I'll buy tea for them...

I've always been pretty strict to myself (at least at work)... but while towards others I tend to be as loose as I can be without forefeiting my basic believes and principles... Perhaps due to this I put more weights on my shoulders? Who knows? But I believe this is the right attitude and I shall carry on with this... This time I'm pretty disappointed at myself... But there's one thing that I know I need to learn out of it:

When you make mistake, you fix it! You learn from it! Then you have to move on!!! It's useless to be sad... Find improvements... and then grow from this !!!

Let's see then...

Very tired nearly every day after work... Today I will go to sleep ASAP... Getting old lar... can't rush for consecutive days...

Nothing much to update actually... But so far... so good... :)

Yes you got it right it's an annual event which I promised my parents some years ago that I will go travel with them at least once per year...

This time we travelled to Tokyo (again!). Flight was really early at around 9:30AM 2nd July... Stayed there for 5 days and returned to the real world 6th July late night... It was generally a pleasant trip... Nothing much to worry about apart from where to go and what to eat every day in those 5 days... That's really terrific eh? :) I hope my parents and sister enjoyed it much too... 

Ok... where to go next year? Maybe Hokkaido? :) Look forward to that already... :)

Went to watch the film: Live Free or Die Hard (i.e. Die Hard 4.0)... Well what can i say !? It's simply terrific!! The movie has been exciting from the very beginning till the end... I'm not saying this because I'm a long-time Bruce Willis fans... I simply want to say I haven't seen such high quality classic action movie for ages... It's a definite collection item of mine soon... Blu-ray for sure!!!

Yesterday was my colleague Billy's last day working with us... We had farewell lunch at Wanchai's Spaghetti House and then at night we went to dinner together... Good luck lar... I'm sure with your right and good working attitude you will succeed in whichever company you join:

I always believe people learn quickly when assigned with the appropriate responsibilities... and from what I understand most of the good people welcome responsibilities rather than resist them... but is that what I think subjectively only? I'm not sure... but I'm willing to try it out...

Anyway I'm sick again... very annoying... My friend asked me if it is due to stress... I told him no... I always believe I can handle stress pretty well... but there is something called sub-consciousness... Maybe mine is thinking the other way round... Anyway I believe I'm reasonably stressed... which keeps me moving... I still hold my work belief as always... but now I believe my first priority is to take care of the people around me... I hope this is not wrong...

Going to Tokyo soon next week... Sooooo looking forward to that !!!

But when? And how? I guess now it's my job to figure out...

One more task in the "To do" list then... Ha!

I'm happy that I am given a new opportunity to learn under such a friendly environment. I'm happy that this environment is surrounded by good people... I'm happy that work is getting adquately challenging and now I look forward to coming to work as there are new stuffs every day... I'm happy that I'm lucky and there is no need to be get unhappy at work like before... I'm happy that I'm better off than I was in a year ago...

So no need to be worried about me... I'm still hanging in there... I AM stressed, but I think I can manage it... Really thanks for all my friends who sent me warm messages after seeing my blog messages... I'm happy that I have friends like you... :)

Frankly I was kind of expecting this... but not this quickly!! Anyway there are always new things to learn... and consider this another one then... Start planning ahead now without being too worried should be the right attitude I guess... Well as I usually tell others there is going to be no improvement if you just complain... Start working on something now!!!

But things are easier said than done... ha! :P

A lot has happened... Well mostly good though (touch wood!)...

I think one of the best news recently I got is that my good friend Jojit is now expecting a baby boy!! Congratulations bro!!! I'm sure the kid will be super naughty like his pa haha!! :D

I've been off for more than 2 weeks to a trip to UK/France in April... Frankly speaking the trip was quite "stressful"... coz we hired a car to drive around England... As a new driver who never have driven for real since the day I got the license in 2005, I took it as a really good chance to practise... Anyway it is actually a pity due to that I wasn't able to enjoy the trip 100% as I find that driving a lot is a very tiring task... But still I enjoyed it a lot... Having said that, I still haven't processed 90% of the photos I took there... Gotta work hard in this weekend lar...

Job-wise... it's pretty "funny"... Soon after I returned from England for fun, I was sent back there (to London) by my company for a week's training... I should mark this somewhere as officially it's my first serious business trip... Was pretty boring though as I was going there on my own... Colleagues there are cool... and I normally returned to my hotel in Gloucester Road (London of course!!! Not the one in Hong Kong damn it!!!) before 7PM... Slept really early and woke up super early as well to have breakfast before heading to office through the London Underground... Anyway it still is a hell of an experience!!! Having such a trip once in a while would be very fun...

And on the first day of work after I returned to Hong Kong... I was asked to take on a new role... Let's see... :P Have been quite busy since then...

Due to "itchy ass" (directly translated from Cantonese so my apology if you don't understand this), I now got a NDS Lite, in addition to the two old NDS I got at home 2 years ago... :P Have been playing it A LOT lately... and expecting the new NDS Zelda game to be released in June... SO looking forward to it.... :D

There should be more to write...
